I am fascinated by our planet and explore traditional and nontraditional ways to know a little more about it . My research focuses on atmospheric-oceanic-terrestrial interactions. In particular, I use paleo-climate archives to learn about past changes induced by the different climate system components. I believe that an improved understanding of those mechanisms is crucial for paleo-climate reconstructions and future climate predictions.

I also work to promote new ways of scientific thinking and the linkage between ancient and new knowledge.
